In 2002 Kick Gallery was initiated by its current Director Jacob Hoerner. Since that time Kick Gallery has developed into a commercial art gallery that promotes and presents the work of contemporary visual artists working across the full spectrum of mediums and artistic platforms. As a result of producing and promoting successful exhibitions the artists represented by the gallery have been able to establish contacts as well as foster long-term relationships with other artists, curators, collectors and audiences interested in the arts. Kick Gallery moved in March 2010 from its initial gallery space on High Street in Northcote to its current address at 4 Peel Street Collingwood. In 2010 Kick Gallery was nominated and accepted into the Australian Commecial Galleries Association (ACGA).
